Clay Romero believes in leadership anchored in service to the community, action grounded in integrity, and policies shaped by local values. A 51 year resident of the third District, Clay has served our community with great customer service and a drive to make things better for us all.

Clay designed a health care membership system that is cost effective, simple, and is so good, that people will voluntarily choose it over any other health care plan.

Safety, Economic Stability, Environmental Cleanliness, Freedom, and Basic Fairness are the cornerstones of Clay's vision for Mendocino County.

Simplifying local government

Policies to reduce fees and overall regulations to set businesses free to create a better economy for us all. The people must succeed first before the County can achieve a benefit.

Preserving our way of life

We live in a beautiful area, and I intend to safeguard it for future generations. Preserving Lake Pillsbury and the Jackson Demonstration State Forest are priorities for the economy and our environment.
